Meat Lovers Fried Rice

Steak

Eggs

  • Eggs

Rice

  • Day Old Cooked Rice
    3 c
  • Garlic
    4 cloves
  • Green Onion
    3 stalks
  • Neutral Oil
    2-4 tbsp
  • Oyster Sauce
    2 tbsp
  • Shoyu
    3-4 tbsp

Steak

    Pat both sides of NY Strip Steak dry and then cut it into cubes. Add it to a bowl and season with salt , white pepper , and Worcestershire Powder . Toss or mix to make sure it’s all coated evenly.
    NY Strip Steak: 1, salt: to taste, white pepper: to taste, Worcestershire Powder: 2 tsp

Shrimp

    Pat Peeled/Deveined Shrimp dry and then cut each one in half. Season with Baking Powder , salt , and white pepper . Toss or mix to ensure even coating.
    Peeled/Deveined Shrimp: 8-10, Baking Powder: ½ tsp, salt: to taste, white pepper: to taste

Chicken

    Cut Chicken Thighs into small pieces. Season with Sesame Oil , salt , white pepper , and Garlic Powder . Toss or mix to make sure it’s all coated evenly.
    Chicken Thighs: 2, Sesame Oil: 2 tsp, salt: to taste, white pepper: to taste, Garlic Powder: 2 tsp

Spam

    Open the can of Spam and cut it in half. Reserve one half for later. Cut the other half into slices, then into french fry shapes, and finally into little pieces.
    Spam: ½ can

Eggs

    Crack Eggs into a bowl, add in a hefty pinch of salt , and whisk together.
    Eggs: 3, salt: to taste

Rice

    Crush or roughly chop Garlic . Thinly slice Green Onion .
    Garlic: 4 cloves, Green Onion: 3 stalks

    Preheat wok to high heat. Add in a bit of Neutral Oil . Add in the spam. Give it a few tosses, then let it sit for about ⏱️ 20 seconds . Toss again and let sit until the spam is nice and seared. Pour it out onto a baking sheet.
    Neutral Oil: 2-4 tbsp

    Add in the steak and cook the same way for about ⏱️ 1 minute , then dump it onto the sheet tray. Add the shrimp and toss/keep moving for about ⏱️ 30-45 seconds until they have fully changed color. Dump onto the sheet tray. Add the chicken and cook the same way. Once finished, add to the sheet tray of meats.

    Add in more oil and toss in the garlic. Move it around for no more than ⏱️ 10 seconds , then pour in the eggs. Let the eggs sit for ⏱️ 15-20 seconds and then mix until they mostly solidify. Push all to the side, add in more oil, and dump in Day Old Cooked Rice . Toss this all together for ⏱️ 1 minute .
    Day Old Cooked Rice: 3 c

    Pour Shoyu around the edge of the wok, then add in Oyster Sauce . Toss the rice until everything is sauced and evenly coated. Finally, add back in the meat and the green onions, and toss it all together and serve.
    Shoyu: 3-4 tbsp, Oyster Sauce: 2 tbsp
